Project: To create a vintage baseball card themed birthday invitation. Photos supplied by Tracy Johnston Photography in Texas. As I completed the design at 5×7″ I thought something was missing and decided to print the invitation out at 50% of the size and voila!… Little baseball cards that are the perfect give away with favors. Happy 10th Birthday Kaden. You’re a Rock Star Batter at Silverbox!

I thought the blog post wouldn’t be complete without highlighting my favorite baseball moment in the movies… the Natural’s home run scene.

You are so talented, it’s SCARY!!!!! You blow me away every time I view your blog!!!! Thank you so much for designing these for my baby boy…..I will treasure this card forever!!!

And by the way, the movie clip had me crying!!!! Baseball is in our family’s blood…..as I write this, my husband is at practice with Kaden, because he has a tournament this weekend and my husband told me, “No, we can’t go to dinner, we have baseball practice!!!” I can’t wait for my husband to see these cards. He is such an awesome dad!!!! He rallies behind Kaden and cheers for him on the sidelines, it’s so sweet!!! I’ll have to get you to do something for him, maybe a sweet collage or something for Christmas!!! I’ll let you know!!!
