Category Archives: sweet treats We recently had a surprise evening baby shower for a sweet neighbor and thought it only fitting to fill these bags with summer salt water taffy. The shower was complete with yummy goodies from neighbors and a custom baby banner. mmm… thank you twig and thistle! what a great idea to make these to celebrate a warm Easter weekend ahead.  Since we’re all snowed in (again), I decided to put together little gift bags of hot chocolate and give to everyone in the neighborhood. I simply placed them on everyone’s front door handle and enjoyed a peaceful walk down the street. It’s amazing how a blanket of snow quiets everything. I truthfully couldn’t ask for... What a beautiful snow-filled day in Collegeville, Pa. Our family just came in from shoveling and made some hot chocolate to get nice and warm.
