Celebrating the Sweetest 16 Years

16years.jpg

Because of you Silverbox turns 16 today, and undoubtedly, the sweetest years ever.

As a business owner, I will be forever grateful for a delightful client base. You’ve become family and enriched my lifetime in more ways than you will every know. As an artist, the years have been fulfilling beyond measure. Here’s to an even sweeter 16 years ahead.

To celebrate, I would love if you would share a picture of one of your photographs or designs by Silverbox, here on Facebook. I hope it gives you as much joy as it gave us when we created it.

Phoenixville 19460

Silverbox has found itself in a new chapter and a new zip code.

Ted and I have recently downsized into apartment living and planted ourselves in the quaint little town of Phoenixville, Pa. We’ve been here for about two weeks, boxes still surround us, furniture awaits, but we’re making headway. Downsizing was quite a process, but now that we find ourselves on the other side, it feels like quite a relief. It’s like we’re living in a hotel, playing in the city, and going home in a few days – but the reality is, it’s time to settle in and make this home.

What does this move do to Silverbox? Truth is, nothing and a bit of “I’m not sure”, all wrapped into one. While everything will continue business as usual, moving to a new location can possibly change things that inspire me, which could have something to do with how I create. I’m so excited to see how I react to this new atmosphere.

While I will continue to travel for photo sessions, I thought I’d share a little bit of my photography in town to those that question what’s next. I welcome you to come and be photographed here, or we can meet at a place of your choice.

Because of you, we have been rolling along quite nicely through 2020 and appreciate you more than ever. To book a session, please contact me at 215-256-6191.

Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas Soundtrack Release

There’s something about the Emmet Otter Soundtrack release that opens up memories from the past. Yes, we are that family that has passed down the tradition of watching Emmet Otter every year, but I have a sneaky suspicion there will be something more enchanting about the music when it fills the house.

There’s a crazy bond when you find others that grew up with this 48 minute movie. That unspoken “brotherhood”. Whatever it may be, I’m so thankful to have a bunch of muppets on strings and wires that entwined me in this lifetime. Here’s to Frogtown Hollow. Here’s to two of the nicest folk on the river, here’s to appreciating what you have and taking chances on your dreams, and…Here’s to Pa’s slide.
