capturing the everyday

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion... love actually is all around. ~Love Actually 2003
To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. ~Clara Ortega
Possibly one of the most colorful streets in the country...

We we're honored to design collateral pieces and a website for one talented Millicent Harvey of the Boston area. Her photography and ideas are incredible and her elder stories are astounding. I had the pleasure of spending a weekend with Millicent at a terrific photography weekend retreat and I'm so glad our paths crossed. All the best to you Millicent and your endeavors!
Coming soon...a sweet day of photos! Think bubbles, hula hoops and pinwheels during the lazy days of summer. Date to be announced.
Well, it's finally my time to watch a daughter graduate from high school and I'm not quite sure where the time has gone. This past weekend we celebrated Emma's graduation in garden-style and were surrounded by wonderful family and friends on such a lovely day. A huge thank you to all that helped celebrate this sweet occasion. Oh, and by the way, since we get so many requests as to how to make the dress below, here's a video tutorial on how we put together. (When I put this video together I accidentally put the ribbon through the photo print backwards. You’ll need to put the ribbon through the hole on the photo side when stringing them on, otherwise I think this video should do the trick). We’d love to see your finished product! Good luck! Video Tutorial here.
