Photo Sessions & Champagne Bar

To celebrate ten years of Mother’s Day Photo Sessions, what can be better than a glass of bubbly? (My husband will be playing bartender for the day.) Thanks to all who made an appointment. We're fully booked and looking forward to a day filled with beautiful Mothers and their children.

Chocolate Happy Cake

You know those types of people you meet and connect with right from the start? I had the privilege of a few of these in my lifetime. One of them being Tracy Colletto. Tracy and I worked together years ago. She often chatted about writing songs in her car. No, not just the lyrics, but the actual melody. I reassured her that most people don’t do that, and that it amazed me. Since then, Tracy has put out two albums with a newly released album last week called Chocolate Happy Cake.

We recently had the honor of photographing her album cover. When we get to collaborate with different types of art– be it music, etc, there’s always a bit of magic. We had dinner together recently and she explained the meaning behind a few songs off her new album. It's the coolest thing ever to get to hear the artist’s perspective.

I spent two days in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France at a photography workshop taught by none other than Sue Bryce.

I just returned from the trip of a lifetime. I spent two days in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France at a photography workshop taught by none other than Sue Bryce. I’m fortunate that this was the second time I participated in one of her workshops. Day one was a full day of photographing beautiful women and one very handsome man at the historic Hotel du Duc de Noailles. We photographed throughout the hotel (all four floors) at nine stations. We practiced posing, lighting and connecting with our models. There was a small language barrier with some of the models as English was their second language. However, it was overcome with a smile, expressive eye contact and providing directing with my hands. We wrapped up the day by gathering to watch Sue photograph one of the models.

On day two, again I took a train from Paris and then a taxi to meet all my new international photographer friends at Chateau du Val. I joined them for breakfast before we headed into the conference room to start the second day of the workshop. OK, I said conference room…but it was the most beautiful conference room I’d ever been in with beautiful chandeliers.

At the end of the day we got our photos taken with Sue. I gave her a t-shirt with the Philadelphia skyline on it as a small thank you and to represent our area. She graciously placed it across her and posed for a photo with me. I do believe I have the goofiest smile but it is filled with happiness and gratitude to this woman I admire.

Silverbox took a little time out of the studio in no other place but the City of Light. Corinne attended a two-day workshop by the  amazing Sue Bryce, and I ran the Paris Marathon.  Do we have a little spring in our step this week? You better believe it.  

Mother's Day Photo Sessions 2016

Here's to ten years of celebrating Motherhood. The people we've met and stories from these sessions will be some of the best my life will have endured. To the Mother's that are no longer with us, to the toddlers that are now teenagers, and to our clients that have come to this event every single year. (yes, we have them!). We applaud Mother's everywhere. Sessions are approximately 15-20 minutes. We will invite into our studio to view your gallery of 15 images approximately two weeks after your session.

We just received a copy of the October 2015 issue of entrsekt magazine from ISTE (International Society for Technology and Education). Last summer I was in Philadelphia at their annual convention and photographed Lord James Knight and Mary Beth Hertz to be showcased in the magazine.

I give to you the Dudley family

Today the Vanity Fair Hollywood 2016 issue hits newsstands. The cover with all the stars dressed in fine black attire makes me swoon.

I’ve wanted to photograph a family dressed to the nines with hair & makeup, outside and in the woods for as long as I can remember. It’s a photographer’s dream to pitch an idea to a client and they buy into 110%. With that being said, I give to you the Dudley family.

The people that Silverbox has brought into my life is well beyond words. I have been blessed to photograph so many children from birth. Year after year, I get to capture their growth and personality change. I'm not sure how I got dealt this hand in life, but darn it if I'm not the luckiest gal. These kids are like family to me.

I've photographed each one of these kiddos since birth.  Do I feel like one of the family when we see each other? You better believe it.

At Silverbox we do a lot of high fives, hugs and lollipops. Thank you to each and every client that has considers Silverbox family.

Mother’s Day Sessions | May 8 Our ever-popular 20-minutes Mother’s Day photo sessions will take place on Mother’s Day this year at our Collegeville studio on 15 Willow Lane. Will there be champagne and fanfare? You betcha! It’s a great day for Grandmoms, Moms and their kiddos. Session fee ~ $100. Rain or Shine

Holiday Sessions | October 10 Good ole’ Columbus Day. A day off from school for your holiday photo sessions without having to interfere with any weekend plans. This is the first session date to sell out, so if it’s something that interests you, we suggest you schedule early. These are 20-minute sessions that will be held at our Collegeville studio on 15 Willow Lane. Session fee ~ $100. Rain or Shine

Holiday Sessions at Valley Forge | October 15 Here’s a brand new backdrop for you this year. How about some rolling hills and fields of gold? These hour-long sessions will take place at Valley Forge National Park. Session fee ~ $150. Rain date October 22nd

Holiday Sessions at Landis Tree Farm | October 16 Due to popular demand we’re bringing back our limited sessions at Landis Tree Farm in Schwenksville again this year. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful evergreens for your session. Yeah, we know it’s only the middle of October, but you may want to think blankets or plaid when getting set for your session. Session fee ~ $100. Rain date October 23rd

Halloween Sessions | October 31 Just a little thank you to anyone that had a session with us during 2016. We are having complimentary 5-10 minute costume sessions. You’ll receive the perfect low-resolution digital file for sharing with family and friends. This will take place at our studio in Skippack at 1117 Bridge Road, Creamery. Session fee ~ This one’s on us!  Rain or Shine

Gingerbread Holiday Sessions | November 8 What a sweet day this will be! How would the kiddos feel about decorating Gingerbread Houses? We’ll provide everything. They’ll start with a full constructed house, and we’ll leave the decorating up to them. Of course they’ll leave our studio with their masterpiece! This is a 45-minute session. This will take place at our Collegeville studio. Session fee ~ $150 + $25 per each gingerbread house. Photos taken inside.

Signature Sessions Need a special date and/or location? Want us to come to you? If so, our Signature Session is for you. These sessions are a bit more laid back than the above sessions and usually last about an hour or so. Drive time may apply. Session fee ~ $150.
