Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around.
I took a moment to get a little creative in the kitchen, (and I don't mean with food), by painting a wall with chalk paint and gracing this newly found canvas with some script from It's a Wonderful Life. Take a moment during this holiday season to enjoy the simple things. The little moments. Remember what's important because time goes by much too fast. If you need a little reminder, here you go...

Oh, how I love Mondays. My favorite day of the week. Just add some rain, and it's perfection. It's my day of reflection and serenity, and my day to breathe.
