This beauty came down from Tamaqua for her senior portraits. Her Mom went to school with Susan. Before the shoot we had a chat on the phone to discuss outfits, accessories and hair & makeup. We also discussed the look she was going for with her session and how she wanted to be photographed. Melanie wanted some outdoor nature looks and an edgy look. We started at the Creamery studio for the images on the palettes as well as the images in the grass. I love what we can create without having to leave the studio. BUT…then we went out on location for some of her edgier images. I love the look of the lace and sequin dress against the dilapidated building and how she just kicked back on the steps. We had a really good time getting to know each other and laughing. Melanie is one of the happiest girl’s I’ve ever met!

Tori is a self-proclaimed “17 year old lifestyle beauty guru from the East Coast” with over 136,000 followers on her You Tube channel. Each week Tori posts hair and makeup tutorials to her channel. Her followers cannot get enough of her and they show their dedication to her on Twitter and Instagram.  She’s recently been to New York to attend the Shorty Awards and is off to London for Beauty Con. Oh, did we have fun with this one! A very special Birthday girl came to Silverbox for a fun-filled photo session with friends. What she didn't know was that she would be greeted by one of her idols, Tori Sterling, of Macup101 to do her make up before the session started. Oh, the surprise was priceless beyond words. A moment to remember for sure. Thank you Beth for making my job so exciting! By the way, who brings Birthday favors for the photographer too? Beth does. Mwah!

Marcella has an energetic and fun loving personality! She had me and the hair & makeup artist laughing the entire time. We started out at the studio for the first two outfits and just as we were about to head out on location it started to rain.
