Well the end of the week is upon us. Thanks for stopping in to take a peek at our 2011 Holiday Card collection this past week. Now that there is a chill in the air, we invited you to heat up a nice warm cup of cocoa and peruse a more complete design collection at www.shopsilverbox.com. Will we be adding goodies to this site in the upcoming weeks? Why of course we will! Stop by from time to time. Have a terrific weekend!

it's a wonderful life

Happy Tuesday! Design No. 2 is inspired by an all-time holiday classic. What I love about this card is it's flexibility. While we know you may have your special movie in mind, we offer up the opportunity to make it your own. Do you have a favorite Christmas movie and want to choose your own text? How about a little write up highlighting your family's year in review? There's enough room for quite a bit of text while still maintaining it's elegance. Also, designing with one photo will always make a huge impact. Simple is best.

greetings from silverbox

We thought we'd share a new 2011 Holiday card design each day this week. We can't wait until you see and feel our new paper stock. Our 2011 collection will be one of the thickest stocks around. 16pt uncoated, which is a dream! It really should be snowing here. The holiday music has been playing for design inspiration, the cinnamon smell is in the air, and we're getting all geared up for our photo sessions which start the 8th of October. If you're interested in a session, please call us at 215.256.6191 to schedule a day and time. Otherwise, we offer the opportunity for you to send in your photos to be combined with our designs.

Why I love this design... First and foremost, it really takes on a Silverbox look, so of course I'm drawn to it's coloring and style. I always love a square design. It stands out in a pile of cards in a basket or hanging on display. Some choose to steer away from a square card due to it's additional shipping cost. Keep in mind when you really think about it, it's not that much more. For a quantity of 100 cards it only costs about $20. additional to ship.

Without further ado, here's design no. 1 for this marvelous M0nday.
