It is with mixed emotions that I let everyone know that today is our dearest Michelle's last day at Silverbox. She is moving on to other endeavors, but will thankfully be available to us from time to time. I look at it as a beginning of a new way of living, and not a good bye, although I will surely miss her smiling face on a daily basis. She has been a fan favorite to many of our customers, as well as mine. After 3 1/2 years together in the same studio certain things happen over time and my employee turned into a friend. My wish is that she may never be afraid to dance with the stars and follow her dreams.

With much appreciation for a wonderful 3 1/2 years, Susan

May you live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

snowed in printable

Due to all our snow, I thought this was worth the re-post from last year. This year I've included a free printable! Enjoy!

Oh what fun to assemble little gift bags of hot chocolate and deliver to everyone in the neighborhood. I simply placed them on their front door handle and enjoyed a peaceful walk down the street. It’s amazing how a blanket of snow quiets everything. I truthfully couldn’t ask for better neighbors. Wishing you a warm night with a cup of hot cocoa and good company.

We just finished up with a creative little design session with a marvelous client from the South and wanted to show off our design process. We start with a little casual phone chat or meeting and listen to what it is you're looking for. If you're uncertian, surely we'll help you along by asking the right questions. The logos above are just a little peek at a few logo options we created to get to the final product. The chosen family crest will now work itself into the sweetest family blog (below) which is in the works at Silverbox this week.
