I think I'm in love with these wonderful iphone cases from www.getuncommon.com. Of course I had to take this site for a test drive and order one with my logo. This is my favorite scent of all time. I love the smell. I love the label design. I love it all. Yep, it's a man's scent, but I wear it anyway.  It just reminds me of a wonderful time in NYC and to this day just makes me happy. I know my husband reads my blog from time to time, (so hint-hint.) Here's where you can get it. I'll even share :) Are you getting married soon, or just getting ready for a special event, perhaps a summer trip? If so, do yourself a favor and pick up a new perfume for yourself. That new scent will always remind you of your special occasion.

Ooh, my new favorite app! If you're a runner and have an iphone, it's a must have. If you're  a runner and don't have an iphone, you need one, and if you have an iphone and aren't a runner, you'll want to run after taking a peek at this. So, so fun! As soon as you hit the start button your run gets sent to Facebook (optional). To my surprise, as I ran my morning run, my playlist was interrupted by a message sent from a friend that commented on my automatic FB runmeter status and was relayed to me through my head phones while running. No kidding! Oh, but there's so much more to this app than just that, so put on those sneakers and take it for a spin. (There's a app for walking too). I did need to go out and purchase the Apple remote ear buds to start and stop the timer with ease.

We had a blast (from the past) with these 80s wedding invitations. From cassettes to PacMan, and on and on, this was, fer sure, a totally awesome project to design.

myfonts Ah, one of the true loves of my life...fonts.

I received an email posting about this great cause that benefits the earthquake victims of Haiti and thought I'd pass it along to the fellow online design community. An absolute beautiful tribute by myfonts.com

They've have created an extra slot this month for Coming Together, an amazing font that was produced for a good casue. Font Aid IV is a designers’ initiative to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The font consists entirely of ampersands, representing the idea of people coming together to help one another. Nearly 400 type designers, graphic designers and other artists from around the world contributed. All proceeds from sales will go to Doctors Without Borders to help with their relief efforts in Haiti. (Needless to say, MyFonts and other distributors refrain from their usual commission.) Coming Together contains over 400 glyphs and is supplied as a single OpenType font for Windows and Mac OS X.

Yesterday we had received such a beautiful flower arrangement from our floral designer, we had to share. Flowers by Keren is a florist in the Collegeville, Pa area that specializes in locally fresh cut flower arrangements. Silverbox is graced by these creative works-of-art monthly and it's one special treat every time a new masterpiece comes through our doors. Keren's dedication to her work is unsurpassed. We receive these arrangements every month, even when there are no flowers to be cut, as this month's display was made from beautiful paper!
